OmniVox systems and software provide an environment for delivering CallProcessing, Interactive Voice Response, Voice/Fax Mail, Fax Processingand Call Conferencing applications on industry standard components:368/486 PC, System V/386 UNIX, Dialogic telephony boards and TCP/IPnetworking. OmniVox contains several application development toolsincluding a GUI and menu-based Voice Applications Generator. Standardfeatures include hook facilities to link `C' subroutines to interface toany non-voice function (i.e. host access, PBX interface), a SpeechEditor, Call Counts Facility, recording/transcription application and on-line documentation. Optional features include multi-lingual VoiceRecognition, Fax Processing (On-Demand, Broadcast), Text-To-Speech, andConferencing (multi-party, broadcast) and ISDN. Sample applicationsinclude Account Inquiry, Order Entry/Status, Service/Dealer Locator,Employee Benefits Enrollment, and Student Registration.
